Rainbow Bridge, Here He Comes

The Longest, Hardest Goodbye

At 10:10 a.m. We released our boy and running he went to Rainbow Bridge. Our vet made a house call. After having fought so long with such a quiet, resilient, unwaivering spirit, he went so peacefully. It was the right time.we each had heart to hearts with him, and we both told him that it was okay to let go. We also told him that should he decide to not go naturally, that a full on country breakfast would await him in the morning. I should have know based on his long lasting love affair with food that he would opt for option 2. So, this morning…a big country breakfast it was. Bruno downed eggs, bacon, potatoes, and a biscuit. words cannot possibly express how much I miss him already but I know he is in a better place and that we will meet again. Thank you all for your kind words and support. And thank you to Countryview Vet Clinic for allowing him to go with grace and dignity. We love you Bruno.

Hi. I am Bruiser Bruno, a 7 yr. old American Bulldog who has lived the most wonderful life. Currently, I reside in beautiful NW Arkansas (alongside my soulmate and bestgirl, Daphne, and our four handsome and rambuncuous boys) with my wonderful parents, JD and Maricela. We all moved to Arkansas about three and a half years ago.But honestly, I would have to say that I consider myself a true Texan at heart- since that's where I mostly grew up. Yee-Haw! I am however originally from California. What can I say, I like to travel. **Bruno's spirit was set free, as he crossed over Rainbow Bridge, on 12/31/12. He faced his battle with cancer stoicly & with awe-inspiring courage. No matter how bumpy the ride, it was one which I could have stayed on forever. I am grateful for "EVERY" moment I was lucky enough to have shared with him.

  1. I’m so very sorry Maricela and Jeremy. This is the hardest part about being a pet pawrent, it hurts so much when this moment arrives.

You gave Bruno such a great life. May the memory of all of your fun times together lighten your grief and bring smiles to your faces as you remember him. I know I will smile whenever I think of Bruno.

Many, many hugs coming your way.
